Kansas State Head Coach Bill Snyder Diagnosed With Throat Cancer

According to a news release issued by K-State, Snyder has been receiving treatment for about three weeks at KU Medical Center in Kansas City and is "getting along very well". He said doctors and staff at both KU Medical and M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas have worked together to finalize the overall treatment plan which is being conducted in Kansas City. Kansas State opens spring practice on March 29.

The statement said Snyder's doctors consider the coach's prognosis "excellent" and school officials indicated they have no plans to change anything in regard to Snyder's existing duties. "Sean, along with our coaching and support staffs, remain highly productive in carrying out their responsibilities keeping us on track".
